This every day precipitation

leads to much indoor frustration.

have much obscured climate change!

are much upstaged by weather news.

The radiant colours of the dawn

once more belie a gloomy morn’.

Sometimes I’ll comment socially

on things I either hear or see!

Reminiscence

When inspiration leaves me cold
I look to things I did of old.

Poles Apart

A squirrel did its wire-walk act

from pole to pole and stayed intact.

Hunter

A sparrow hawk sat perched on high

then elegantly sought the sky.

Cat Nap

A fine black cat in sunlight lay,

exhausted by its curious day.

Not victim to the Techno-woes

that life in new abundance throws!
