Safely Grazing

I waved in friendly country greeting
at flock of sheep, who answered bleating!

Seconds!

Some collared doves feast eagerly
upon the berries on my tree.

Al-fresco Dining

Some little birds in garden fed,
fine plumage green and black of head.

Country Life

Along my lane some cattle grazed
and when I moo'd they thought me crazed!

First Flowering

Today I caught  glimpse of spring
and joy that nodding snowdrops bring.

Big Grey Bird

A fine fat heron looked at me
from river bank, neath spreading tree.

Uninspired

I find such little inspiration
from day on day precipitation.

Plot Loss

Of late I've witten not a lot
and some might say, "I've lost the Plot!"

But I shall seek more inspiration
for regular communication.
